We are hiring a Director Platform Engineer to join Amazon. This role requires a motivated professional with 11+ years of experience in the Platform Engineer domain. You will be part of a high-performing engineering team working on cutting-edge products. This is a On-site position with competitive compensation.
Tanggung Jawab Utama
Design and build internal developer platforms to improve engineering productivity and experience
Develop golden-path templates, scaffolding tools, and self-service infrastructure provisioning
Own the developer portal built on Backstage and integrate it with internal tooling and services
Define platform SLOs and implement reliability improvements to reduce developer friction
Partner with security and compliance teams to enforce standards through platform guardrails
Kualifikasi
5+ years of platform or infrastructure engineering experience
Strong proficiency in Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies
Experience building internal developer platforms or internal tooling
Proficiency in Go or Python for building platform services
Excellent communication skills for gathering developer needs and evangelizing platform adoption
