We are hiring a Director API Developer to join Splunk. This role requires a motivated professional with 11+ years of experience in the API Developer domain. You will be part of a high-performing engineering team working on cutting-edge products. This is a Remote position with competitive compensation.
Tanggung Jawab Utama
Design and implement RESTful APIs following OpenAPI specifications and best practices
Build API gateways and middleware layers for rate limiting, authentication, and request routing
Write comprehensive API documentation and developer guides for internal and external consumers
Develop API versioning strategies and manage backward compatibility for platform APIs
Collaborate with partner teams to integrate third-party APIs and manage API lifecycle
Kualifikasi
3+ years of API development and integration experience
Strong proficiency in Python or Node.js for backend API development
Experience designing APIs with OpenAPI/Swagger specification
Knowledge of API security: OAuth 2.0, JWT, and API key management
Experience with API management platforms such as Kong, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway
