We are hiring a Junior Database Administrator to join Bukalapak. This role requires a motivated professional with 1+ years of experience in the Database Administrator domain. You will be part of a high-performing engineering team working on cutting-edge products. This is a On-site position with competitive compensation.
Tanggung Jawab Utama
Administer and maintain relational database systems including PostgreSQL and MySQL in production
Design database schemas, indexes, and query plans for optimal performance
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures for critical databases
Monitor database performance and proactively identify and resolve bottlenecks
Collaborate with developers to review and optimize SQL queries and data models
Kualifikasi
5+ years of database administration experience
In-depth knowledge of PostgreSQL and/or MySQL internals and tuning
Experience with high availability setups including replication and clustering
Proficiency with database monitoring tools and query optimization techniques
Familiarity with cloud-managed databases: RDS, Cloud SQL, or Azure Database
